Laura earned a BFA in Contemporary Dance from Concordia University in 2002 and completed graduate studies with the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) through their International Choreographic Exchange program in 2004.

Laura first discovered Osteopathy as a patient to manage old injuries and the wear and tear on her body from dancing. The treatments that she received sparked her interest in the connection between the physical body and health.

From there Laura made the decision to use her experiences and knowledge in a new context: therapeutic rather than purely artistic. She embarked on a career change and graduated with a Masters in Osteopathic Manual Sciences from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2019. Laura is a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO).

Taking care of my body, mind, and soul have always been a priority in my life. I enjoy taking time learning how to optimize my health and now use that knowledge as a way to contribute to, and connect with my community.

For years, I was an avid yoga and CrossFit practitioner. I had the opportunity to learn from great teachers. I also sustained a few injuries from pushing myself too hard. One of my teachers introduced me to Functional Range Conditioning and Kinstretch, and with the support of a team of physical therapists and my Kinstretch practice, I built a more resilient body. I now use these practices to help my clients do the same.

I recently began my journey to complete a Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Science (2027). When I’m not coaching clients, I spend time with my husband and my 5-year-old son. We love playing outside (when the weather allows), building Legos or pretending we are dinosaurs, and chasing each other all over the house.

At 50, I feel lucky to have a body that can quickly respond and recover from the exertion of trying to keep up with my son!

At Integration Health + Education, I provide hands-on, individualized care to help you move with ease, reduce pain, and reconnect with your body’s natural ability to heal. As an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, my approach is grounded in classical principles and a deep respect for the relationship between structure and function within the body.

My path to osteopathy began with a strong foundation in science. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry before completing yoga teacher training and working with cancer patients at a non-profit organization. These experiences inspired me to pursue a more holistic approach to health—one that honours both the scientific and self-healing aspects of the body.

I graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, where I was trained in Classical Osteopathic Manual Principles, and I am a proud member of OSTCAN (Osteopathy Canada). My treatments are calm, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.

I have a special interest in supporting women’s health, but I welcome patients of all ages and walks of life into our inclusive space. Whether you’re managing chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or looking to enhance your overall mobility, I’m here to support your journey toward better health—one treatment at a time.
